Nature conservation is not something that runs on its own - it is a matter for every one of us. J.D. von Hagen tries to make its own contribution. Besides the photovoltaic system and the oil recovery from turning operations, environmental protection is actively put into practice. For many applications, it is a shame to use mains water or underground water sources. Using a modern system of cisterns, rainwater is collected and then utilised in different areas by means of an intelligent water circulation system. We save valuable drinking water and show a responsible attitude to using water resources.
Furthermore, the question of energy optimisation has highest priority for us, by using waste heat via heat recovery systems. Waste heat arises in the different production areas, for instance in injection moulding, and can be used for heating the offices and production buildings. This way it is possible to make waste heat from production utilisable for space heating, and at the same time production processes can be cooled by sustainable methods and fuel oil can be saved.
